Salute to Service

The ASU Karsten Golf Course and Arizona Sports 620 have joined forces for Salute to Service, an on-air and on-line radiothon and golf event benefiting two very special organizations — the 100 Club of Arizona and the Folds of Honor Foundation. The 100 Club of Arizona provides financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty, as well as resources to enhance their safety and welfare. The Folds of Honor Foundation helps to insure no family is left behind in the fight to preserve American freedom. Through scholarships and other assistance, they give back to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to our country.

This annual event and charity drive will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Karsten Golf Course at Arizona State University where on-air sports personalities, Burns and Gambo, will broadcast live from 11am – 6pm. The golf tournament will begin with a 12:00 noon shotgun start. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to donate to these two important causes.
